Opening speaker Glynne Manley Intuitive Exhibition Clonmel Potters with artists and directors |
Intuitive Exhibition |
Clonmel Potters |
Everyone’s favourite show is our Annual Intuitives Exhibition, which opened on January 1 – the only day we serve Peter’s famous Bloody Marys. In February we welcomed talented ceramists Donald and Belva Johnson, who have worked together as Clonmel Potters since 1976 in their studio in the hills of St. Mary. Their stoneware is produced from locally sourced materials and has found homes as far away as Paris.
Our current show features Susan Shirley, best known for her watercolours of Jamaican houses. This time she concentrates on still life, achieving a new richness and mastery of the play of light. The exhibition was opened by former tourism minister Aloun Ndomet-Assamba, who will be shortly taking up her post as our High Commissioner in London. Our good wishes go with her.

“Down to the Finish Line” Michael Parchment |
Harmony Hall at night |
The season finishes with Intuitive artist, Michael Parchment, his second one-person show at Harmony Hall on Easter Sunday, April 8th. A favourite subject includes our athletes, of whom much is expected in the Olympics. Once more we apologise for the lack of recent information on our website, but hope to remedy this very soon. As always, we finish by thanking all of you who continue to provide us with the motivation to keep on doing things that we love – friends, artists, artisans, staff, and, of course, our fantastic customers and renters. With our very best wishes, Peter and Annabella Proudlock, HarmonyHall.com
