Mazola Wa Mwashigadi
Was born in 1964 in Kenya. He received his diploma in Fine Art from the Creative Art Centre, Nairobi, Kenya. He has had one-person exhibitions in Kenya and Jamaica, and was accepted into the Annual National Exhibition of the National Gallery of Jamaica. He has illustrated a book and done commissions of murals and mosaics. He received the Commonwealth Art and Fellowship award for the Africa Region in 1996/7, when he first visited Jamaica to study. He now lives and works in Kingston.
