Christopher Gonzalez

Christopher Gonzalez
was born in 1943 in Manchester, Jamaica. He attended the Jamaica School of Art, later returning to teach, and the California College of Arts and Crafts. He has exhibited in Jamaica and overseas, and created the definitive bronze statue of Bob Marley, now at the National Gallery. He was awarded the Silver Musgrave Medal in 1974. He has participated in many Anniversary and group shows at Harmony Hall. He lives and works in St. Ann.
