Eve Foster

Eve Foster
was born in Hanover, Jamaica, and completed her education at Heatherly's School of Art, England. As the wife of a naval officer, painting faded from her life until their return to live in Jamaica in 1968. A visit to Haiti provided the catalyst for the resumption of her artistic career. She has had 2 solo shows at Harmony Hall, Jamaica and 1 in Antigua, and is a regular exhibitor at the Piers Feetham Gallery in London. She now lives and works in rural Devon, but Jamaica is still a major source of inspiration.
