Albert Artwell
Albert Artwell was born in 1942 in St. James, Jamaica. His paintings have been shown in many traveling exhibitions of Jamaican Art, including the Smithsonian. He has participated in invitational shows in Switzerland and Venezuela, and has had one-person shows in London, Kingston and twice at Harmony Hall. His joyful colours, Biblical subjects and fanciful style have made his work popular with residents and visitors to Jamaica. He has exhibited with Harmony Hall since its opening.
